Dream Test match debut for MS Dhoni as he captains India to a Test win against South Africa to square the series 1-1. India beat South Africa by 8 wickets within three days. South Africa were bowled out for just 121 runs which set India a small target of 62 runs. Many of the supporters would have liked India to win the Test by 10 wickets. But the pitch was unpredictable as the small score would have looked like a big one. South Africa had nothing to lose defending a small target. Sehwag (22) pressed the accelerator right from the word go. He smashed two towering sixes in the stands and a cracking boundary. Jaffer (10) once again looked out of touch. Ganguly (13) and Dravid (18) later took India to victory. Earlier Ganguly's 87 and a brilliant 46 runs partnership for the last wicket between Sreesanth and Ishant Sharma helped India take a vital lead of 60 runs. Ganguly was declared the Man of the Match while Harbhajan picked up the Man of the Series award for his 19 wickets in the series.
