New Delhi: After being out of action for more than three months, Australian pacer Brett Lee is aiming to return to the side in the Twenty20 World Cup in South Africa in September.
Lee, who tore his ankle ligament in February, was forced out of the World Cup in the West Indies, but is set for a return at the showpiece event of the shortest version of the game, that starts on September 11.
Lee told the Sydney Morning Herald that he was not having any trouble during the running sessions.
"I'm really happy with how it's going. I actually ran much further this week than I was going to because it felt good," Lee said on Thursday.
