Premal	India’s Selection Blunder continious Looking at the 2nd ODI against Sri lanka, were India choked and could not even get 20 runs in 26 balls with 5 wickets in hand, they should learn that combination of 7 batsman and 4 bowlers is always better for world cup. Also the pitches in W.I are similar to India, hence they should regularly use the spin of Sachin, Sehwag and Yuvraj for 10 overs to fill the gap of 5th Bowler. Also Romesh Powar could have been a better choice than a fast bowler as now it is a proven fact that in the one dayers, its the spinners who gets them the wickets and not the faster ones who are smashed round the park in the initial overs. The past records in the last couple of years prove the fact that the India’s opponents are never comfortable against the spinners. pradeep	hi dude`s As everyone is aware that is india has got a match winning team also with some fantastic reserves as sanjay said in cricinfo talk the reserves will keep the 11 under pressure. one thing i would i like to see either sachin or shewag opening the bat beacause these are 2 batsmen who have been opening india for quiet sometimes which also give you left and right combination so if that happens no stopping india from the world cup another good thing as dravid and chapell both are aiming for the semi-finals as their first goal which is also a good sign . when they acheive from their they will be heading to different direction with a counter plan ( Posted: Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at 19:23 )
