New Delhi: Now one team who will be looking to move up the points table are the Mumbai Indians, who have put a bad start behind them with two straight wins.CNN-IBN spoke to one of their key members, Sanath Jayasuria. And this is what Jayasuriya said:
On the Indian Premier League
I think it was a good experience for all the foreign players because it is a new thing. It has nice been to work with the youngsters of the Mumbai Indians. And I'm really enjoying my cricket.
On Mumbai Indians bouncing back in the competition
We lost the first four games and won the last two games. That's what we wanted and that is what we will try and continue. And to do that we have to play really good cricket like the last two games, we need to continue that way for the next few games.
On opening with Tendulkar
I would love to open the batting with him (Tendulkar) but unfortunately he is not fit at the moment. So it all depends on Sachin and the physio and how Sachin feels. If I get a chance to open with Sachin, that will be wonderful. But at the moment it is all in the physio's hands.
On getting a big one in the competition
I would love to and I'm just getting the starts. What I want for the Mumbai Indians is to give a good start and for the last two-three games, it has been really nice. So the batting form is really good and if I get a chance I will try and get a big one. So I am looking for that.
On the youngsters in the team
I think Abhishek Nayar is a very good talent for India and can be a good all-rounder for India. Whatever we know and can do develop their game, we will be supporting them.
