New Delhi: Despite Australia, England and New Zealand raising concerns over the security situation in the Pakistan and travelling to the troubled country for the Champions Trophy but the Aussie batsman Matthew Hayden said, he would be more than keen to go if the situation permits and win the Cup for his team.

Hayden was quoted as in Sydney Morning Herald that Cricket Australia and the players would be informed properly before they make a decision to go to Pakistan in September.

"We're on the eve of competing in what is known as the second World Cup. We don't want to walk away, as it's a tournament that we would like to win. So, I would certainly want to be involved in the competition if it means that my safety is not compromised," he was quoted as saying.

He also added that he himself would want to make significant contributions to help his team secure the Champions Trophy.

On the other hand, New Zealand all-rounder Scott Styris on Tuesday expressed his reservations about going to Pakistan for the mega event.
