Mumbai: The Indian Twenty20 team members appeared overwhelmed by the welcome they got in Mumbai after returning from South Africa with the World Championship trophy in their bag.

S Sreesanth, Harbhajan Singh and Robin Uthappa said they were overwhelmed by the grand reception and are now looking forward to the upcoming seven-match One-Day series against Australia.

"I am very lucky that I was the chosen one to take the catch. May be I was fortunate but I really enjoyed the moment," Sreesanth said about taking the catch of Misbah-ul-Haq in the final.

Sreesanth also said that he never expected that the entire Mumbai would come out to give them a grand welcome.

"Well. I knew there would be a nice warm welcome but this was really out of the world. It was unreal. We were waving and talking to each other what a reception it is? Totally unbelievable. Everybody was standing on the road and in the rain," the Kerala pacer said.

Sreesanth sounded confident that he would be able to stand up to the Asutralians.

"I have to play the Australians now and if they are targeting me wow what else can I ask for? I get an opportunity to challenge them and prove people wrong," he said.

Robin Uthappa, too, was overwhelmed by the reception.

"It was something that came straight to me and I knew that Imran Nazeer was struggling. So I might as well hit the stumps," Uthappa said and added: It gave a feeling that the whole country was really happy. It was then that the feeling that we had won the World Cup was really sinking."

Meanwhile, off-spinner Harbhajan Singh praised Mahendra Singh Dhoni's leadership skills.

"I can see the new young team, going a long way and Dhoni is a great skipper and great guy. He is very cool," Harbhajan said.

"Yes, now the Australia series is big. Not just for me but for everybody. Everybody know how important the series is going to be and we are all looking forward to it and I am sure that with the kind of team we have, with the kind of confidence we have we can beat Australia any time, any day. We played some tough cricket there and we4 have beaten them in Twenty20 which is not that easy and we have the players and the guts to beat them," he added.
