Ganesh R I think Dr.Narotam Puri, you are wrong in one point. Shivlal Yadav was out hit wicket in an eventful over after hitting Bright for a six. The tied test match was one of the all time great test matches witnessed between India and Australia. ( Posted: Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 14:12 )
mahesh as narotam wrote it was a close decision given in favour of fielding side on a turning track, and it seems even umpires wanted to be part of the history in a tied test match ( Posted: Saturday , June 07, 2008 at 18:55 )
Kobe Fantastic Article Dr Narottam.... This really takes me back the memory lane to my school days and reminds me of my friends from the ''hood. I used to be mad at Ravi Shastri for taking that single off the penultimate ball... but not anymore! without that situation we would not be talking about it after 22 years... vidya Boy, do I remember!
I watched the game on TV at home, my dad and younger sis were at the M.A. Chidambaram stadium. The end of the game is frozen in my memory - TV, Maninder Singh, my living room, our TV, and the tamarind that I was trying to soften up for Sambhar for dinner!
But what year was this? ( Posted: Thursday , May 22, 2008 at 23:27 )
