Sri Lanka plan works, but not India

My, but how things change, and sometimes it is for the better as the game's more subtle side was given a new face. It also shows how good players' are when it comes to adapting to conditions as planning takes a step forward. Read The Article

P C M Chesterfield joins the band of authors who can''t digest the fact that India are T20 champions! The best way to insult such people is to "Ignore"! Lets keep concentrating on our development, by using such criticism on a constructive platform and let Team India''s performance speak for itself. Sanjay N Another article from Trevor Chester-LankaFan. Tell me, Trevor old chap, if the Lankans always have their finger on the pulse, why they didn''t win the T20? Oh, this is a silly format, right? Ok, let''s look at Tests, the holy grail. Why have they never won a Test series in England, Windies, India? Why have they not even taken ONE Test off Oz in Oz? Have they won a series in NZ? Exactly what is their record outside of Lanka? And it will get worse when their main wicket taker moves on. Since you wrote your ever-predictable article, Lankans have lost the next two ODIs. During India''s recent tour to UK (Ireland, England and Scotland), you convinced yourself that the India''s Test series victory didn''t occur. I look forward to Lanka''s tour to Oz, it should be fun to read about your amnesia. Get over your hatred of India. ( Posted: Monday , October 08, 2007 at 07:33 )
rohan I wish Mr Chesterfield would worry more about his country level of cricket and achievements. Sri Lanka has not also achieved much lately. These same fools will be praising Sachin and Dravid, if we win next 2-3 matches and will be appluading the courage and wisdom of selectors .
I dont believe that only Politicians are corrupt, baised and dumb, you will find many such sports writers in the same league now a days ( Posted: Saturday , October 06, 2007 at 04:45 )
quatre Trevor, just shut up. You never say anything good about India, whether it is about awards or selection. When India won the T20 you never said anything then but instead made an article about the long going search for an indian coach. First, sort out your wrinkles and then sort out your articles. If you want to say something, think about what you are saying. ( Posted: Friday , October 05, 2007 at 02:02 )
Aditya Mookerjee I confess, that what you point out, touches a chord, somewhere in me, Mr Chesterfield. If the players have a bad day, due to some reason, during an international match, How many things does Dhoni manage? A coach is, and will always be a part of the support staff, like the manager, on a tour. The coach, and the manager, make the lives of the captain, and the players, easier. What if Dhoni had to do the job of a manager, and coach, as well as captain and player? The coach can establish programs for the players, so that, they perform well, first as individuals, then as a team.
Mr Chesterfield, I am an admirer, of your writings, and hope you continue to write for a long, long time. ( Posted: Thursday , October 04, 2007 at 18:02 )
m.ravindran U CANT EXPECT SUCH THINGS FROM THE INDIAN TEAM.WE HAVE SET IDEAS AND WE STICK TO IT LIKE A GLUE. WE INVENT NEW THEORIES LIKE LEFT HAND RIGHT HAND COMBINATION , BLEND OF YOUTH AND EXPERIENCE AND MANY THINGS WHICH OHTER COUNTRIES DONT BOTHER ABOUT MUCH.WHILE WE RACK OUR HEADS TO SEND A L&H COMINATION WE SEE GILCHRIST AND HAYDEN FOLLWED BY A FEW OTHER LEFTIES POUNDING OUR BOWLERS.U CAN SEE MANY LEFT HAND BTSMEN IN SRILANKA COMING ONE AFTER ANOTHER WHILE WE SIT AND DISCUSS THE MERITS AND DEMERITS OF THESE STUPID THEORIES..NO HORSES FOR COURSES FOR US. danish Most excellent if I may say. Why are India continuing with their old team policy? Sri Lanka seem to have found a few answers that India have not. And the author is in Sri Lanka now and following this sorry England team. Part of the Barmy Army perhaps. ( Posted: Wednesday, October 03, 2007 at 22:38 )
