I still dont get the reason behind the Indian team''s continuing on this tour. Harbhajan can play in Perth and Bucknor is not going to stand there. OK. But how does any of this prevent similar events from happening in Perth? Claiming false catches, sledging, etc? India should take a zero tolerance policy towards sledging starting now. Australia has indavertantly opened the door for the elimination of sledging by filing a compalint against Harbhajan (that too without any evidence). All Indian players should start carrying microphones and report even the slightest instance of sledging going forward. Let''s see how well the Australian team does without help from umpires and using foul language.

ifail to understand how is it that by calling someone a monkey one can make a racist slur!! i agree with the suggestion that bhajji may sue for damages against proctor - how come he decides that bhajji made a racial slur when he did not hear anything! does ths indicate positively that he believes that all indians are racist!!!

Australia has no opportunities for professionals. Every body in australia works as a security guard, taxi driver, cleaner and labourer. All have Master''s degree. Check that out. It''s true.

Your comments reflect a well educated person, free of bias, thorough in analysis. Come and visit Sydney, I would love to share a beer with you after finishing my taxi shift.

Joe, as you obviously didn''t live in South Africa during the apartheid years, I would be very, very careful what you are saying without knowing reasons and facts involving Miek Provter and his family in those years. He played for Gloucestershire for any number of years and told more than once by the racist white regime (as was clive rice)to pack his bags and live in England.
He worked hard for fairness in sport and as part of his South Africa benefit season had plans for a mixed team to play in South Africa. This was scuttled by the minority SACA body in 1975 as it conflicted with their plans that included Basil D''Olveira. But you have become so emotional over the subject you point fingers without knowing the facts behind the reason Procter remained in South Africa after retirement as a player.

Mike Procter has got it all wrong. Firstly, there is no evidence to back the Aussie players''allegations. Even assuming Bhajji had called Symonds a monkey how does that qualify as a racist comment? A racist comment includes making fun of the physical appearance of people from a different cultural or linguistic group. I bet Bhajji does not know to which community Symonds belongs. The monkey comment, having been made to Symonds as an individual and not directed to Symonds''race cannot, by any perversion, be called a racist comment.Bhajji must sue Procter for whopping damages for tarnishing his character.

ICC must cancel the Sydney Test.Kumble is absoutly right saying only one team played with spirit. Totally 15[11+3+1] played against India.Michel Clerk is a liar.He has not taken the Ganguly''s catch cleanly. In the interst of the game Ponting must be sacked. In this charged atmosphere There is no point playing cricket in Australia.Indian team must cancel and return. All the International team should not play with Austrliaa team. They are not playing cricket. Thanks to Austrlian Public and Media for supporting India in the interest of gentlemens game Crickrt.

Yes, indeed. Wipe off the match: it never happened but please make sure that Mr. Tendulkar''s century remains on the record books. But then, why not start with a clean slate? How about cancelling the Melbourne test as well?
