I am in full agreement with one of our former cricketing greats, who once famously commented that Mr McGrath is a highly overrated bowler. Why do we continue to "sir pe chada ke rakho" these foreigners when we have owr own ex players who are better if not as good as these outsiders. Be it for the jobs of coach, teacher, advisor. consultant, expert etc.,.

Accept the facts.
Our players had been only after individual achievements.
See this man is retiring just after receiving the player of the tournament in a world cup and winning the world cup three times successively.
Can you compare any indian player in the same basis.
Our players wil stop only when they are kicked out

Hy Mr. Prakash
Lara bowed out with his country not reaching even semi finals . does that means he was also playing for individual records???
Not everyone gets fairytale farewell as Mcrath has get. He has worked day in and day out and deseves the respect, but that does belittle others efforts.....

why don we people respect others talent .. macgrath is the one bowler who had showed the world how hard work and talent makes it work .... he is a great cricketer of all times ... hum unko bula rahe hai .. iska matlab ye to nahi ki ham usko sar pe chada rahe hai .. its his greatness to show the maturity to accept the invitation and our younger generation could learn somethin from him ... don forget .. a small tip from wasim akram changed bought a lot of change to pathan bowlin ... an chappel spoiled it .. tats a different issue ... any way try to respect the talent an the people first .... its not somethin he achieved on a single day .. he worked hard for it and have proved him self ...

INDRA B.
Forget mental thing ! In sports, you need body to execute mental thoughts. Aussies got great sports culture in their country. I have seen people going to jog during lunch break in australia. I lived in delhi , calcutta, mumbai on a given day i haven''t seen 1% of population taking part in any sports. To reap benefit of Mcgrath''s visit we need to have some sort sports culture in our country.

Kalidas
Many years back, BCCI had requisitioned services of a psychologist. Expectedly, this was a solitary event. Without sounding caustic, Indian cricketers need an expert in that field before they malign another great cricketer.

Shridhar
Why only Ranji players. I think even Zaheer, Munaf and Irfan require this.

not zaheer, munaf, irfan, i think srisanth, rp singh & vrv singh, mr shridhar if u do not have any cricketing knowledge than dont comments on it

Murtaza, why not Zaheer, Munaf, and Irfan? Zaheer has long had disciplinary problems and is more aggressive in his behavior than with the ball, Munaf carries himself like a 70 year old on the field, and Pathan is a wreck! It appears that its you who lack cricketing knowledge, though I agree with you that R. P. Singh with his half-trackers needs mental focus.

Please read my comment carefully, I said that every bowler in India, irrespective of his seniority requires tips from McGrath
