WE HAVE A LOT OF SLOW SWING SEAM BOWLERS, AND WE DO NOT NEED ANY MORE OF THEM SISSIES. LILLEE IS USELESS, PLEASE INVITE COLIN CROFT, WAYNE DANIEL, GARNER, ROBERTS, MARSHALL, OR MICHAEL HOLDING. PLEASE REQUEST ANY ONE OR TWO OF THEM TO HELP MRF GROOM FAST BOWLERS WHO CAN BOWL ONLY MORE THAN 150 KMPH. WE NEED 2 TO 5 OF THEM VERY BADLY FOR BRINGING UP THE IMAGE OF INDIA. PLEASE ASK FOR PRIME MINISTER''S FUNDING. SEKHAR YOU ARE THE GREATEST FAST BOWLER, THAT WE HAVE EVERY HAD.

TA Sekhar was the only real genuine fast bowler for India. Unfortunately the shady North Indian selectors screwed him. TA Sekhar should appeal to the Prime Minsiter of India for more funds. Fast Bowlers should be encouraged to bowl as fast as they humanly could. Speed is the most important factor. MRF shoudl groom Bowlers with a good height and physique to bowl not less than 150 kmph. India really needs true genuine fast bowlers. We need Fast Bowler role models to create fear in the rest of world cricket. Sekhar is the greatest fast bowler that India ahs ever known. HAve you seen Sekhar''s action. He is the best. Dennis Lillee is useless, he just comes to India, takes money and he leaves. In the last 20 years of him IN India, he has not produced or picked up even one genuine fast bowler who can bowl>150kmph. Indians cannot be sissies any more. Indians need to focus on having 2 or 3 tear away fast bowlers who can bowl at 150Kmph,period. There is no use having swing, line/LENGTHngth. It can be groomed by TA Sekhar later.

In bowling, either the mental aspect is given prominence by the bowler, or the bowler, gives consideration mainly to the action, or a part of the action. In my opinion, The whole process is important. When one makes an adjustment, the whole process of bowling is adjusted, not a part. This includes the mental aspect. When one bowls, if it is done as a process, contemplating the delivery, and not a part of the process, the bowler develops his bowling positively, and it is an all round development. This is applicable in any discipline.

I don''t know why these BCCI buggers are not utilising the MRF pace foundation. They need to give some gunding to this MRF pace foundation. I don''t where all this money going? They are always paying to stupid players like sachin, sehwag, ganguly and dravid. They need to cut down the payments to players and give more funds to develope the future players and foundations.

I agree to that 100%, one of my classmate is playing for Tamil nadu team in Rajni (Ganapathy C) and another is a top order batsman (Prasanna). I have two points to make. 1. I agree that we produce quality fast bowlers, why are they not playing for India. Eg ., Balaji - We missed him in this world cup. 2. The fitnesss - I guess MRF pace foundation should concentrate on players fitness and people get injured very soon and they miss out playing for one or two tournament, their form goes back to doom and the player is shadowed by another new pace bowler.

It is very sad that T.A Sekar is not used properly by the BCCI. He is one another classical example for a better coach than a player. It is almost likely that TNCA has a hand on the way MRF Pace foundation is not utilized by the board. Hope our President reads this interview and ask to utilize Sekar''s service for the country. Boys it is worth noting he wasn''t a great cricketer but better coach. You never know about Venki now..

shekar was a quality pacer (borderline genuine pace consistently 140kph+, similar pace to surinder singh bagal 15 years later or vrv singh in just a few spells in rsa, lil quicker than srinath) who was unfortunate not to play much more india; he troubled a strong pakistani line up on flat wickets but was let down by dropped catches, missed half chances, and hitting the seam hard rather than swinging the ball in those conditions;properly utilised he couldve been a match winner for india given the strong batting in 80s. but, yes, hes also a good coach and its a pity that apparently politics still is in the way of his being used by team india.

As BCCI is a racial organisation and it always continue to ignore players and coaches from southern india, i hope prasad the current coach for bowling who is a product of sekhar, tries to implement his ideas to make indian fast bowlers as a fearsome unit. atleast we have the best guy in our country but BCCI will never look for him, as he will be honest and he is from southern india which mr.pawar and shah the so called indian cricket brains will not look into. Pathetic state of running a richest sport organisation.why dont they put some well paid management guys who could run cricket and these guys can sit and watch and may be take up some honorary posts if they want.

MRF Pace Academy has turned out to be a great support factor for Indian cricket and the sub-continent. The efforts of people like Dennis Lillie and T.A.Sekhar are really praise worthy. One hopes, similar academies, supported by private institutions, will come up in future for batsman and spin bowlers. At the same time, you need dedicated and motivated people like those in MRF academy to turn such initiatives into a success.
