Kolkata clinch cliffhanger by five runs

Mark Boucher denied two singles in the dying stages of Bangalore's run chase as Kolkata got back to winning ways at the Eden Gardens on Thursday. Sourav Ganguly was declared the man of the match for his sensational spell with the ball, but it was the fielding standards that marked an unheralded high for the IPL. Read The Article

suman it is hard to digest six loss and 2 wins dravid should blame himself the team has all potential to put a good show and beter cricket than other theams but fail miserably
RR are playing as one unitand fighting with every ball to win match that is what RCB require to win the match just keep up fight till last ball and players should support each other
Dravid and team should ignore the some tvchannell and cric experts biased and bizzre criticism
Still 6 matches to go and Best of luck to RCB ( Posted: Friday , May 09, 2008 at 16:06 )
Leena Sen Kolkata Knight Riders displayed top class fielding. I only wish they would maintain this kind of quality standard. They are so lucky to have the support of such ardent fans. Sourav, please do not break their heart with any more losses. ( Posted: Friday , May 09, 2008 at 12:29 )
lakki with the excellent captiancy of Dravid , which made the team go slow in the early 5 overs of the match and wasting deliveries to hold on to wickets.. this was expected.. i believe, the first few overs when the field restrcitions are in, is the time to take the risks and launch the attack, and matches are won in this fashion. this "TEST" like approach does not work and the rahul dravid should retire from one days and 20/20S and make way for youngsters,, same goes to mr. Kumble,,, though i respect them for their contribution to other forms of cricket,, they basically do not fit in this league, nor have the age to fit in.. This has disgraced us kannadigas as we are at the bottom of the table and this state has a legacy of producing the finest of cricketers... what a shame!! wake up Mr. Mallya! suman As per first round matches, KKR supposed to play against DDDs as the last 7th match of first round
How come they are palyaing against RCs?
IF SRK can get the players like S akthar who is proven in drug test, not eligiable to play for his country anything can happen in IPL?
even the playing game with true spirit counts. Even ganguly ''s dadagirit in one of previous game or bajji slap to Srisant did not won match it is performance of XI players. Some times one man can show like some aussie players did some times umpries giving wrong decision..
the game of RCB vs KKR was really well fought and it was closed game
s d spirit of game
RCB lost match but they played well and it was closed match. It was last 2 overs where shah and M karhick added 34 runs and early wkts for RCB lost match
KKR t lucky In the inagural match it was one man show won the game for KKR.and ganguly became Knigt Nobody speaks the efforts of dinda, Tiabu, and oterh players I Sharma last over was concluded match for KKR,
Every defeat is disappointing and RCB has lost chance to reach smies. IT is more disappointingBut RCB is still on the top of table for playing game with true spirit.

vik Not sure why they sent Praveen ahead of Kohli.Boucher wouldn''t have had to check the single and Kohli plays well under pressure. ( Posted: Friday , May 09, 2008 at 09:55 )
Observer Make no mistake, it was Boucher whose drab batting in the key middle overs lost the match for RCB. His late assault not withstanding, his hits straight to a fieldr for a dot ball or single was most annoying. Dravid''s body language was not better either.
Bangalore, you''ve got it all wrong. Move over, captain! The team needs someone who is more inspiring and can ''take charge'' when the going gets tough. But you are a good guy, Dravid. ( Posted: Friday , May 09, 2008 at 07:46 )
