Karachi: Shoaib Akhtar is being "wanted" by Lahore High Court chief justice, according to Shoaib's lawyers.
The fast bowler's petition appealing against his 18-month ban for repeated indiscipline came up for hearing on Tuesday.
"Chief Justice Zahid Hussain heard our arguments and adjourned the meeting for Friday," Farrukh Sultan, the lawyer's confidant, said from the High Court.
"The judge wanted to see if the settlement between the two parties (Shoaib Akhtar and the Pakistan Cricket Board) is met outside the court. Shoaib Akhtar has also been invited for the proceedings on Friday," he said.
