Mumbai: He is the younger brother of the more well known Mike Hussey, but David Hussey has emerged from his brother's shadow at the DLF IPL with some eye catching performances for the Kolkata Knight Riders. David spoke to CNN-IBN's Roma Khanna ahead of his team's big clash against the Mumbai Indians.

David Hussey: It's been a great experience. i am learning a lot from our skipper Sourav Ganguly. Ricky Ponting was also here and I learnt a lot from him as well.

Roma Khannna: Any local lingo that you have picked up.

David Hussey: All I know is that thanda means cold drink and thik hai means it's ok. Probably, will take a crash course later.

Roma Khannna: You are going to play Mumbai Indians. You saw them beat Chennai.

David Hussey: Yes, they have got fantastic batsmen at the top and we have got fantastic bowlers at the top. So it's going to be a great challenge and a breat battle between Shoaib with Tendulkar and Jayasuriya and then we have the big man in Ishant Sharma. Hopefully, it is going to be a great game and Kolkata will win it in the last over or something.

Roma Khannna: Do you think it's going to be a crucial match in a way that there are three sides in you (Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi) that have a chance to go in the semi-finals, so every match counts now?

David Hussey: We figured that we have to win three out of the last four. So, it's a huge match and a win here will put a gap between the two teams. We are going to go in there like it is the last game and hopefully get the points.
