virgo Rajshekar is spot on in giving a very unbiased and objective perspective. Irrespective of provocations, our Indian team members should maintain a high moral ground and just concentrate on the game. BCCI should put a stop to any on-field behaviors that are not in bad spirit. Though Harbhajan was provoked by Symonds in this case, Bhajji has shown bad behavior in the past. We all know about Sreesanth. Also there is the incident of alleged spitting by Karthic. The BCCI should take strong disciplinary action on these guys to prevent repeat of such bad behavior in the future. ( Posted: Thursday , January 31, 2008 at 02:27 )
Shanker Good article. ( Posted: Thursday , January 31, 2008 at 01:25 )
Alpesh Patel I think Symonds him shelf is Racist....he is the one who provoked the situation by calling himshelf Monkey....I think he is the one who escaped this the case should have been on him for provaking the situation on the field...
And for the BCCI flexing the muscle..if they wanted to do that they could have done a lot worse to autralians .... ( Posted: Thursday , January 31, 2008 at 01:01 )

Any form of racial abuse will not and should not be tolerated by any sporting venue.

Ben You are right Rajshekhar, ICC lost the match to BCCI,whereas the Cricket lost the whole series.
What are benchmarks set from this series???1) Remove the umpire who makes mistakes----there is no limit set to the number of bad decisions given by him.2)There wont be any racial comment from any team henceforth---If you really have it then prove it from microphone,,,and if somebody says something to a batsman returning to the pavilion then????
3) If you dont like any team, threatened them of a pullout forget about playing and winning....
Friends if we get emotional to something said and done on a cricketing field, then we wont be playing cricket but fighting wars and having tribunals and International courts settling the issues....Thanks to media for making these things possible..... Prabu Another biased Indian article. Lets just completely ignore the fact that the Indian Cricketing Board has taken world cricket to ransom through their actions over the past 2 weeks. Money talks eh? ( Posted: Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 17:18 )
Pavan Kumar For a minute, i thought i was reading an article from Australian news site :). I think for once we can do away with all these "Self-Critcising" articles and enjoy the victory; To be honest i am not too bothered about BCCI so called Flexing its muscle.for me, as someone rightly pointed out that the equation goes like USA:WTO :: BCCI:ICC.

Surprising, it is people like Mr.Sekhar who would have been the first to crticise had BCCI not intervened in this matter, now when it has, the complaints are about being over involved. Please dont write articles just for the sake of being different or criticising someone. ( Posted: Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 16:13 )

Thayumana sundaram If what Harbajhan is said to have said is true it is worse than calling him a monkey as he has tried to implicate Symonds mother in the abuse. The whole sordid episode reveals to what extent the values of "sportsmen "has declined. Now that Sreeshanth is joining the tour I hope no further unsavoury incidents ensue. Shabeer If as per the verdict Symonds has started with it why is he not punished? If you remove the ''racial'' part from the whole issue, both have sledged equally. Or is it that Harbhajan''s abuse was more effective? Is that why only Harbhajan is punished now and not Symonds? ( Posted: Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 15:29 )
