I mean what is the hoopla ha about... ??? Why is media blowing this incidence out of proportion. Arguments happen, sometimes they get out of hand. When the 2 players involved in the incident have themselves got no qualms about it and have setteled the issue amongst themselves then why is media trying to play god. I do feel that the person who has written this article himself needs to think why he is getting so emotional ove the issue. There are many more things happening in the nation which need to be brought up through the media .... thiThis one certainely aint one f them ...!!!!

Unfortunately Bhajji has become a tool for settling old scores between Wadias and the Ambanis . My request is to the owners of Punjab and Mumbai teams that don''t settle your old feuds through national heroes .Please spare cricket.

Harbhajan''s ban is a positive move from BCCI. I think Sreesanth must also be banned for at least a few matches. He has already received tons and tons of warnings and it did not change his character in any way. Also, the way in which he cried proved that he is not a sportsman.

Since this event does not happened during the match, and after this incident both players did not wanted to file any complain. BCCI/IPL should have ignore this for time being, and given them punishment by not selecting for couple of years. This way atleast BCCI would have become joker in front of Australian about handling their own players. IPL want to set an example to other players at the cost of reputation of BCCI for handling players. What a shame. First of all whatever we are seeing is not a gentlemen game, its all about who will hit more sixes, who got more cheerleaders, who got more money to pay. Instead of watching movie, you are watching some circus for three hours. This IPL should fail, it is not good for any form cricket.

Oh please. After the down under Bhajji-Symonds faceoff, Bhajji and Symonds became two of the most sought after and highest paid players for IPL. all publicity is good publicity. Over-reaction helps. Possibly after this, the brand value of these two players would rise even further.

A very nice column. Like the author said in an earlier column, Sreesanth is turning out to be an embarrassment.

Sreesanth had done his bit on the ground and that is why Sreesanth got it from Bhajji, who would not hit him without any reason.

So you mean to say that he has the right to do that.If Sreesanth has done something wrong the official''s should take care of it.The ban is justified.
I very well understand your sentiments towards Harbhajan, but he had to get it.

I think this whole issue is blown out of proportion. I would say this incident did not occur while the game was on and only when it was all over this happened. so it has nothing to do with the rules of the game. If a player fights with someone after the match it''s their own choice and it has nothing to do with IPL or BCCI. Both the players are known short tampered type and it''s really cruel if one is punished for no reason and other is not even reprimanded. Take the case of world cup finals. Zinedine was slapped life time ban cause it was during the match but the italian player was also censured by all. Our people are too much. They are not able to digest the popularity of Harbhajan and in name of discipline they have taken a sadistic way to stop him. This guys in IPL are taking themselves as the GOD of the modern cricket and they want to teach lesson to everyone crossing their road. What a shame!!!!!!

Blown out of all proportion? What nonsense is this? You believe in violence?
As a centrally contracted and therefore an international player, Harbhajan has obligations and one is to behave as would a role model. He hasn''t done this and deserved the punishment.
You Sunil S Desai, would have others believe Indians condone this sort of violence and behaviour. Shame on you. Really, shame on you. This has all to do with the laws and spirit of the game, and whatever our opionions are of the IPL and BCCI, they have acted correctly. But you would have people believe it was nothing. It explains where your thinking comes from.
