LVISS WE celebrate 83 victory in 2008.Kpil may not attend and if he doesnt what is the point.Gavaskar has put the board in a twisty situation. The players can meet in a casual way without BCCI participation ,not making it an official one.
Can we expect a similar celebration for our T20 victory in 2032. ( Posted: Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at 19:16 )
Murali M I think BCCI should celebrate the 1983 World Cup win against the West Indies
in a big way bcoz that''s the only time the monopoly of the Mighty West Indies was broken by the so called Minnows at that time which was INDIA, and for Mr Niranjan Shah we need to ask him after 25 Years only one team which was upto the mark was led by Saurav Ganguly, and we do not have anything else to thrive on other than the 83 Win in Lord''s, if we were like Australia we could have basked upon many world cup wins but we cannot do so other then the 83 win we do not any, so in the broader prespective of the game the Board go ahead with the celebrations by inviting the yesteryears champions would like see them all one last time as we all saw them 25 years ago

DR.NPDas Does BCCI and its yesmen understand 1983 world cup win? They dont. They cant. Gavaskar is to be congratulated and let the players of that 1983 squad meet together in camaraderi and ignore the BCCI. That the BCCI deserve. ( Posted: Tuesday , March 18, 2008 at 21:09 )
