We can not solve any problem by being stupid and emotional.First step in improving anything is the WILL(which i think is not that strong).Second just keeping things simple. In the computer age it is also hardest thing.Nothing will improve by writing here and on anyother website.I think board is the real problem.Untill that is replaced by a professional body nothing can be improved .No coach no amount of money can improve our cricket.it will stay the same way. Fans should avoid cricket as much as they can.Mkae BCCi bankrupt .

Not sure where I read this, but someone compared the BCCI to a jet-propelled bullock cart. With all the money coming in and the way they work staying the same, that is quite apt.

Trev, i agree BCCI is not exactly a great example to learn cricket administration from. However, is it just me that feels there is absolutely nothing wrong in the BCCI sending Ravi to Dhaka to speak with Dav about the India job? Ravi is definetly capable of managing this team long term, but he is not keen and BCCI thinks he can convince Dav to take up the job. I believe Dav will be a great coach for the Indian team, he knows this part of the world and he has a proven track record. I guess for once, BCCI is doing a good thing.

See another foreigner telling us what is wrong with us and again hitting the nail on the head. We did not listen to Chappell, but now we need to listen to this voice of sanity. Why do we continue doing things in our own unique way. Time that we changed so that we are more effective in the world of cricket.

The BCCI is more concerned abt minting money and cuting players to size .The game has survived in india despite BCCI .If BCCI continues with its comic ways of handling cricket, policy of pitting one player against another and other sinister methods cricket in this country will die.It has already taken its first steps towards that scenario.

We cannot expect BCCI to be organised like the rest of counter parts in cricket.BCCI is more involved in ens fire fighting and saving there back, where will they have time for cricketing issues. All four boards in Sub Contienent can get the prize for the most unorganised baord.

as an Indian I feel very bad reading this article. but this is the truth and very true picture. This is why we are not world beaters. You may replace players as many times as you want .. you may find another Tendulkar but they will not succeed unless you have concrete plans ... Lets hope money this time buys the best candidate available... and we begin to beat other teams consistently even if dont win WC.

Spot on Trev. The Hitlers at the BCCI are too caught up with counting the loot to plan properly about the team. The whole lot of the clowns should be shown the door. But it wont happen because there is no real spine in Indian cricket or politics for that matter....just talk
