Kranti Pal Singh	I was ten years of age when India won the world cup. My father didn’t let me sleep the whole night in excitement. It was a great achievement. Madan lal took three very important wickets (Viv Richards included) and scored some vital runs in a low scoring match. He became my favorite from that time. Really a fine, untiring bowler, dedicated fielder and utility batsman. I remember Bishan Singh Bedi, almost always saying, while commenting, “O, the old war horse!”; everytime Madan Lal came to bowl. Even today, I never miss a chance to watch the old recordings in which the likes of Madan Lal, Rogar Binney, Kapil Dev and Mohinder Amarnath played. ( Posted: Tuesday , March 18, 2008 at 23:02 )
s.Mohan kumar	i am a great fan of Madan lal and the committment shown by him is a lesson for any youngsters playing the game. his fitness and the work ethics is un matched.
