Subhashis, What are you on.. 20-20 is the best format, and in my opinion, 50 overs and test series should be scrapped, I dont to want sit for 1 day and 8 days and watch a game, where I dont make money and other people make money,, Perhaps you were born in a rich family and you have plenty of time for horse polo and test cricket, but sorry mate, 50 overs and test series must be scrapped and I am sure everyone agrees with me,, if you dont remember India lost in the 50 overs but won the 20-20.. so howwwzzat that..

Iam not rich ,I work 12 hour day and you donot speak for me.I could n''t even be bothered to watch any of the 20/20 matches live.If you have short attention span, low understanding of the game, subtlities of the longer version are lost on you then you are welcome to your wham bam thankyou maam version of the game.Leave the real game to people who appreciate it.You like it you watch it,don''t be so vain as to think you speak for the majority.

Subhasish, What rubbish,, come on all you need to play good cricket, is hard work, talent\skill, patience, and a good leader who believes in the team that has been picked. All this talk about how 20-20 is different from 50 over like this is nonsense,, if you play like a team with good players, you have every chance to win whether it be 50 overs or test..
Learn to open your mind and eyes cause you are still fast asleep, Subhasish..

Ryan, indeed I am yet to learn the secrets of consciousness that allows a myopic vision and a selective memory. My words will hardly open minds, as much as performance will. If you play/have played cricket, some of my words may make sense. Else, an opinon is always welcome. But nevertheles, my two paises of thoughts:
-20/20 will dominate future cricket because of exactly what someone said- time/value of entertainment.
- Test will remain the apex of cricketing skills.
-ODIs will struggle to remain popular, but do require more skills than 20/20. Gilchrist emphasized the importance of toning down to get to the 50 format. Clarke showed how class can take a match away. So it is cricketers views against yours. Hence it is evident who needs to open up here.
20/20 require DIFFERENT skills and in some cases different kind of cricketers. The likes of Manjrekar or Gavaskar or Laxman will always struggle in the format, yet they were a delight to watch in Tests. I hope this helps clarify what I mean.
