Is Australia's dominance bad for cricket?

Australia have emerged as the only superpower in world cricket. They won the World Cup last time without losing a single match and their dominance this time has not been much different. Is this good for the game?

Australian dominance is not at all bad for cricket. This dominance has made many teams to emulate the aussies. As a result of which teams like Newzealand southafrica have gone by the aussie way.Ofcourse the result is not great as the aussies. But they give better fight than others . Its high time to look back and see what made the aussies dominate world cricket for more than 10 years now.The answer .........ofcourse its there system which is built from the grassroot level. So they get excellent replacements forany player ,unlike india. Therefore thier skill level, mentaltoughness, strategy levels are higher. If every country can get somewhere close to the australian system we can also compete with the aussies .(Posted: July 25, 2007, 12:41 pm)

australia in their own way are a great team and have their own stratagies to win matches and other teams should watch them play and learn from the best.other teams should learn from and build upon their strenghts and weaknesses and in no way is australia dominance bad for cricket as many teams aspire to take their position and become better that the best and we would get to see better matches if other teams watching them learn and go out with a different frame of mind that is with a positive attitude towards the game.(Posted: April 20, 2007, 6:14 pm)
