Bhajji-Sree row won't affect Indian dressing room
It was a pleasant surprise for me when the Chennai Super Kings bowling line-up, which is not as strong as our batting, scripted an impressive win against the Kolkata Knight Riders.
The latter started strongly, but Jacob Oram was able to induce false shots from the in-form Brendon McCullum and then Ricky Ponting. Once you lose wickets upfront, T20 becomes a very different ball game, and a sub-150 total was always going to be hard to defend against our in-form batting attack. I celebrated the win by learning yet another Tamil term, polama, which means "shall we go?"
While cricket has been hogging the headlines all over the country, it was a little sad to see a controversy in the newspapers once again. The incident involving Sreesanth and Harbhajan Singh was unfortunate because I know both of them, and they are not bad guys at all.
Everybody is passing judgment based on what is reported in the newspapers, and I am too far from the scene to actually comment on it. However, before issuing any punishment, I hope the authorities check the actual sequence of events rather than just what the footage shows. It's a lot like what happened between Zinedine Zidane and Marco Materazzi. What Zidane did was wrong, but Materazzi also was not completely in the right.
Harbhajan is a very aggressive cricketer who plays hard and is there for his teammates whenever they need him. Even Sreesanth has seen this supportive side of Harbhajan in the Indian dressing room.
Sreesanth is also a very aggressive cricketer who likes to express his highs and lows very passionately on the cricket field. Off the field, you will not meet a more soft-spoken guy than Sree, and he is actually a very laidback guy when he is not playing cricket. I am glad to hear that whatever happens in the form of disciplinary action, both these guys have sorted things out between themselves.

I probably think that apart from what happened on the field amongst the two fellows, such matter should not be handeled by the BCCI. Rather as friends and team mates on and off the field there should be a group of mature cricketers only who should take the initiative for the patchup between the two. These are childish acts and should not be blown up so much by the press. I personally feel the matter is not as bad as it is made to look by the press. I ca understand the deed is not good, maybe done by whoever but it was really flaired up so much as if the does is some kind of a hardcore criminal. It''s really SAD.

I think that everyone is entitled to their opinions...but i think that Bhaji has been treated a wee bit too harshly...not that I support his treatment to Sreeshant....we should remember that they are also human .... and every action has an opposite reaction....so he only showed his human nature.... but the only thing that went against him was that he did it in full glare of the media!! my opinion is that we should stop this tearing and digging of this incident for so long for the betterment and good spirit of Indian Cricket...he has already got the appropriate punishment so please give the poor guy a BREAK!!!!!!

Zidane and materazi were playing in a body contact game. By comparing their fracas with what happened here he merely wanted to show that he knows football also. The comparison doesnt fit.Dhoni perhaps does not want to lose the two great "fighters'' The best Dhoni can do is to allow bcci or ipl to do what is in the interest of Indian cricket and not according to the present day captains wishes. Captains will come and go but the game shd go on.

Dhoni i like your temperament in the field and off the field. I like your batting style and your captiancy is great. Leading india is not a children''s game. You are the best captian in indian history. Keep it up boy.
