I am totally and utterly disappointed with the Indian team performance in world cup 2007. I think all the player lack stamina, power and determination to win. They are only playing for money not for the game or country. This is there job, if they can’t perform they should be sacked. Just through them out of the team. Give chance to youth and talented boys. All these big names in Indian team (Ganguly, Sachin, Sehwag, Dravid, Dhoni, Zaheer) are no good for nothing other then Advertisements, Songs and Films. All these oldies should be changed with young, strong, powerful and talented boys.

Jai Hind. Sachin is only in for money, not for cricket or India.Same goes to most of Inbian cricketers and BCCi. They dont give a dam for our fillings as long aswe give them money(to watch and listne) and treat them as a god. The only reason that the media ,iIndian gov.and Us,ye we people have not created our heros beyond vricket and filmy. If these guys dont play or perform, push them out, dont be sentimental. They gad there chance, dont sacrifice feelings of billion people. This will give a chance to other hungry talented person to make his or heer life. Always give a chance and appreciate talent beyonf, cricket and film. Please wake up guys, dont be blinded by this media. At least dont buy this pay to watch cricket. These guys are highest paid in the world.and perform worst in the world. You need your moneys worth. Bycott the product they promote. That will hirt tham in crouch. Kash

And every pace bowler is taught, told, shown where exactly to bowl - just short of length, and line - well as straight as a gay! Thats why you dont much often see the firework (even after 20 overs of field restrictions) like you used to earlier. Coaches and Batsman the world over need to understand this trend and adjust to it. Cricket in all forms will be ''bowling exciting'' in the times to come unless batsman, as I said recognise this trend sooner (rather than living in the past) and devise innovations once again to be on top. Not for any negative reason, but to adjust to the new trend that I outlined, do I suggest that Sachin should come down to bat at no. 4 or 5 . That is if you want him to be a teamman. But I rather say, let him be selfish - cater to his self. Let him be free minded. Let us give him back the joy of batting. Let us not burden him anymore! Ganguly (Mongia) Sehwag (Gambhir) Laxman (Dhoni) Yuvraj Rahul Sachin Pathan Dhoni Kumble Munaf Zaheer Harbhajan Nehra Balaji

continuation I could go on with this. I dont care if anyone calls this sentiments. For these are sentiments well placed. But I would like to dwell on something else. In the last couple of years, I have seen a change coming in cricket - Bowling has started dominating the game. I think that for a while, during the 90''s, the batsman held sway. But in the last couple of years, among other things, technology has helped bowlers much more. You suddenly see bowlers bowling in the right area all the time. In all of cricketing history, bowlers have always held sway but in the 90s it staggered a bit because of some innovative batting and new rules on field placings. It took some time for the bowlers to find their groove just like it takes some time to overcome a hangover. Yes I would call it a hangover! Now with the aid of tech., you know as a bowler where to bowl to any particular batsman. But even with all the tech, what can a batsman do but to first wait for the ball to leave the bowlers'' hand. Pace bowling has come to life again. Every team boasts of at least a couple and world class teams have 3, even 4. ....Continued.

I agree with the sentiments that soham has put forward. In other words, we are guilty of creating hero''s overnight, but we are guiltier to pull down our God. Dont be fools to think that Sachin is a mere cricketer. He is an era in world cricket. And I may add that he is the father of modern cricket. I wonder what Don Bradman''s statistics would have been had he had to carry the hope of a billion mad people for years after years after years. Anyone would be reduced to pulp with that much pressure riding on you. Its always easier to be a better batsman or a better bowler if you are in a world class team - Sachin is a genius in an average team - He has faced and conquered the best bowling attacks. Had he been an Australian, he would have had the best bowling attack on his side. And that''s the point - exactly why Its so much easier to be a Ponting than a Sachin, it was easier to be a Richards than a Sunny.

Mr Deba,it is writers like you who are biased in praising Sachin. There has been only genuine big match players post Kapil era-Anil,Ganguly(as skipper),Rahul and Sehwag. For Sachin ,his pathetic half century proved that he chases records and that too min an ugly fashion. Dinesh

That was the complete write-up .But if you go through the data and forget the emotion you will realise that in One dayers when sachin scores a century india''s win percentage - 70 % .This is not a probability , it is a solid proven fact . In the teast matches when sachin scores a century india''s "no loss" percentage - 78 % i.e. india do not lose a test 78 out of 100 times if sachin scores a century . Just one thing - Learn to respect your heroes and stop acting like a bunch of losers .

And the last thing is that Sachin played 11 years [1989-2000] in the era where his own team mates involved in match fixing.. So despite of his brilliant knocks we failed to win the match just bcoz others not contirbuting..Yuo can win ODI''s just wid ur own batting but u can''t win test matches wid one innings bcoz test played for 5 days its a 4 inning game..Still Tendulkar''s record in that era is Awesome.. and remember The awe of opponents was as great as that of crowds. But the finest compliment must be that bookmakers would not fix the odds - or a game - until Tendulkar was out.

7. 45 - LBW bowler Macgrath,UmpireIan Robinson, against Australia at Sydney in 2000, the ball seemed to hit him too high and was going on leg stump, In that very over,Tendulkar had pulled a short one from Macgrath for two,and hooked the next two for boundaries, and a ball later punched the fast bowler back past him for the 3rd four of the over 8. 16 - caught behind off Waqar Younis, against Pakistan at Perth in 2000, it was must win situation for India to qualify in the final , scored 16 runs of 9 balls, hitted 3 fours in one over of Waqar Younis and 1 off Wasim Akram on the fastest pitch of the world,India were chasing 260 odd runs...

part 11 More Intresting Part!!!!!!!! Often said Sachin gets fail at crunch situation...Well 1st we must admit that when Sachin on the crease Win is sure...As soon Sachin gets out..the situation becomes crunchy!!! Sachin is out,now who will win match for us?? Dravid ?? or Sehwag?? or Yuvraj?? Or Ganguly?? No one sure who will win match for them... So bcoz of this thing Teams targets Sachin as the most precious wicket... Nasser Hussain introduced Negative lines for Sachin Tendulkar to stop the flow of runs when he is on wicket!!! Local umpires also involved some times to help their team against Sachin Tendulkar, espeically Australians! Some incidents striking in my mind...I think Sachin is the player who got out maximum numbers of times bcoz of bad or wrong decision by Umpires..I m producing those incidents only which I remember, there may be many other too
