Nandakumar cricket is game for team. It is neither for sourav nor Dravid nor sachin nor anyone. If a persons excels in a game, they are getting recongnized with man of the match. please publish articles to induce kind of integrity, not the kind of heroism. subu Each man is entitled to his opinion and I guess you are a fan of this guy and some of the leading journalists who swear by Ganguly. Yesterday was not his day and I think that is quite understandable. He is not the super God of Indian cricket as you guys are portraying. He paid a price for his lack of integrity and none of your media masala''s helped him get out of what he was framed for. However it is very sad to see a guy who has played some fantastic games move around as a loner. If you sincerely care for this guy you have to write more positive reports and stop that biased running down of the others.Sachin is a perfect example of a team man...he just does not give up.Yes! he failed like Ganguly to score but he was a more tough bowler to get away than the real spinners.

Ganguly is not going to last for more than a year so let us all help him to get positive and be a team man.You dont have to skipper the side always you can always be a useful contributor to the team.Kindly stop canvassing for him as this will expect him to more than what he can and then maybe he will retire disgruntled.Let him learn to enjoy in the right spirit. Kaushik I do not know about the furure of Indian Cricket. But a captain like Sourav has never been produced before who knows how to fight and make the team perform as a unit. I agree with Raj. Because Sourav is more stubborn than Dravid. But for now the captain is not going to be changed before the WC. ( Posted: Thursday , January 25, 2007 at 17:03 )
subortho Mr. Sanjay Jha is an alternative word for "PARTIALITY" ( Posted: Thursday , January 25, 2007 at 16:11 )
Raj Its only a matter of time that a spinless captain called Rahul Dravid will be stripped off from Captaincy !! Mark my words, Entire India know who is made of what! ( Posted: Thursday , January 25, 2007 at 15:56 )
Kaushik It is not that individual performances that of Dinesh Karthik, Romesh Powar, Agarkar and Harbhajan etc. are being judged match by match. It is the matter why we are centralising the discussion around one person because the treatment he received from mgmt was not expected and was in bad form. It was not in the spirit of the game. Whoever is writing in favour of Sourav not necessarily a great fan of Sourav. But they did not like the way he was handled and humiliated. Everybody is there to perform in the team. Nobody is exception. You cannot be the same everyday. So do not critisize anybody based on one-match performance. Judge series by series and your conclusion would be encouraging. CHHERS FOR MEN IN BLUE FOR THE WC! ( Posted: Thursday , January 25, 2007 at 14:31 )
Kaushik Mr Sanjay - I fully agree with you. But I would like to add one more point. Whoever is responsible a sleeping tiger has been disturbed and the results are produced with a bang and hunger. I don''t agree with Madhura who is stressing on some unconfirmed baseless points. If his motive would have been politics and play for his self profit then he could have done long before with the assistance of Mr Dalmiya who is alleged to assist Sourav during his tenure in many instances. Leave it I do not want to discuss all these baseless topics. I agree that it was good to drop Sourav. But the way he was dropped and slanged in every news channel as if he has done some murder and escaped. At the end of the day he has proved to be a great fighter in adverse condition. Thats all I have to say. ( Posted: Thursday , January 25, 2007 at 13:48 )
cricketlover Dear Mr. Jha. Why are u silent now? Why no praise for Dinesh Karthik, Agarkar, Powar and Harbhajan for their splendid display in a low scoring tough match? Guess it''s not worth speaking about indian cricket team unless and until one Mr. Saurav Ganguly does well. Am I right Mr. Jha? ( Posted: Thursday , January 25, 2007 at 13:04 )
Madhura I wish all of Sourav''s "well-wishers" would take a step back, breathe a little and see the bigger picture. Is it not due to the unceremonious sacking that Sourav found his hunger to play at the highest level again? Not only play, but play well? Even the most vociferous backer will have to admit that Mr Ganguly was slacking off too much for his own good, and it is good to see his return to good work ethics. Mr Chappell needs to be given indirect credit for this revival. ( Posted: Thursday , January 25, 2007 at 11:28 )
Gilroy Now you should write how Ganguly failed (or back to form?) just as you wrote when he played well. ( Posted: Thursday , January 25, 2007 at 02:25 )
