Srikanth Mr Sanjay Jha,

First of all I would like to tell you that Rocky Balboa is my favorite movie which I must have watched min 25 times each part except the last one which I watched only thrice till now. I carry the DVD set everywhere I fly.

Coming to the comparison Rocky has always been a underdog(In all parts) and always played against strong opponents(Its a movie I to know) which is not the case with Aussies. Rocky character always go with few other characters paulie, adrain and importantly Mick. Without them there is no character Rocky. Aus team doesn''t need any of such characters...whoever they have they are always a force. Rocky is about determination, self belief and will power, Aussies its about team effort and skill levels.

Rocky is an individual, you can''t compare with team because team is of individuals with all multiple personalities.

Please if you want to do such comparisons use a individual and not a full team.

ROCKY IS A STORY OF UNDERDOGS AND ALWAYS A STORY OF FIGHTING AGAINST ODDS.

But Aussies are always favorites so your comparison is not at all applicable to aussies. Please pick some baseball or basketball or football movies to compare. ( Posted: Thursday , March 01, 2007 at 19:10 )
Keshav Sanjay wanted to proudly announce he has seen "Rocky Balboa". Hence an article "Rocky Balboa". He tries to challenge himself in the area of stupidity with each and every article. Especially his pathetic attempt to connect movies characters to cricket is nothing but a joke. ( Posted: Tuesday , February 27, 2007 at 22:01 )
more Raju Hullo friends,
If you all hate Jha and his "regionally biased website" so much, why do you visit it in the first place?
Shows how big morons you all are.
BTW, if you want to read articles eulogising Greg (your Great GURU) and The Wall (accoridng to you who is an incarnation of Vishnu himself), just go and read columns written by S inDian journalists. You will have a nice time reading about how Anti Indian Kolkata was, how that Nagpur green pitch is so necessary, how Dravid chased 17 ODI victories, how Ganguly''s comeback was on a batsman'' s paradise, how chappell deserves to be the next president etc, etc.
OIr yo can start blogs yourself and lambast Ganguly to your heart''s content - who is stopping you?
Go ahead, and please dont come back to read Jha''s column - this guy at least has the balls to take criticism - that too from people like you, who cant even write their true names. Poor souls - how I pity for you. ( Posted: Monday , February 26, 2007 at 22:17 )
Manjeet Will anybody from the website bother to change the mistake made by Jha about Australia winning the First World Cup in 1999. Or it is Ok to make such big mistakes????????? ( Posted: Monday , February 26, 2007 at 14:54 )
Sujeet K. Mohanty I still feel that Sanjay is right. You can not write the Aussies off because of a few losses. Ponting and company will be back. May not be for long. But they will be back. ( Posted: Monday , February 26, 2007 at 00:17 )
jhansi yes, the Aussies are down but that does not mean they are out. They will bounce back! ( Posted: Sunday , February 25, 2007 at 10:45 )
Sukumar Sobers is right. No team can find a quick replacement for the likes of Gilcrist, McGrath & Warne and when these guys leave together the Australian line up will not be very different from the other teams. Just wait till Tendulkar, Ganguly and dravid leave the scene, the Indian team will look so ordinary that the Australians will start looking like tigers in comparison. Sameer first world cup is obviously the glaring mistake Jha made.
However, when it comes to Murali being called a leggie.
May be he wanted to refer to him being a wrist spinner and hence used the term leggie. Murali''s stock ball is the one which turns into the right hander alright, but he is not a finger spinner. He is a wrist spinner like the leg spinners and the chinamen. So lets stop criticising Jha on this issue. May be he just wanted to point out that Murali is a wrist spinner and not a conventional "finger" off spinner. ( Posted: Saturday , February 24, 2007 at 22:44 )
Bharat Australians are definitely on the back foot due to changes in the team composition. It is interesting to note how bad luck has gripped them; the grip is tightening with each passing day. No one could have imagined injuries to their key players. All the other teams are unable to hide their glee over what is
happening to the Australians. However, we must not forget that Australian cricket is thriving because they
have a system that promotes excellence. I have a feeling
that they are going to do very well in this World Cup,
too. ( Posted: Saturday , February 24, 2007 at 20:49 )
HAT-RICK True RAJ, Mr. Jha is on the verge of a hat-trick himself. This is his second consecutive article without the mention of the Bengal TIGER... ( Posted: Saturday , February 24, 2007 at 18:37 )
