Ajay jadeja the great man...........terrific player.... we need him to indian cricket some more years as a player rather then a coach.now he is looking 100%fit...he is on the field and play some good cricket in the ranji''s.don''t be harsh on him he already paid the price of match fixing.

Ajay Jadeja - The best Choice once again as ap layer rather than a coach... He is very good in coach too, but its India''s time to use his experience as a master player... Allow him to play atleast for some more years.. Age is not a problem.. Then appoint him as a coach...

One the topic of coach - If we ever need only one man why are we not considering Shastri/Sunny permenantly. What better an honour than to coach the national cricket team. Or is it that their noses are at stake (besides money) if they take up the role. What about seriously considering Ranatunga?

I dont think Jadeja should be appointed Indian coach. He has lost all moral rights to such a high profile job.

My take on Emburey as Sunny Gavaskar''s choice is that it still left the door open for Gundappa Vishwanath as batting coach.

I donot think Jadeja has the ability to Coach Indian team, Coach is not only a motivator, but also must have the guts to question the performances of senior players. All these days Jadeja came to defend Sachin even though the latter produced one after another dismal performances. But Jadeja somehow not willing to accept the decline of Sachin''s skills, he keeps on praising the same old song, and always likes to defend Sachin. This one quality is enough to disqualify him from the Coaching job. He is gutless to pointout the inability of Sachin, if this man becomes the next coach it will be a disastrous one. Why cant the BCCI experiment with ''no coach'' policy. I think Indian team dressing room will be heaven without a Coach after the ''Chappell Disaster''.

I think Salim Malik will be the best when compared to Jadeja or Azhar, he can also teach fixing the matched even on moon.

Jadeja is a very bad choice for coach. I agree he was good cricketer in his time but he made the ultimate mistake by being involved in match fixing. Due to his actions, he was one of the key players to shame the gentle sport of cricket. To have someone like him back into the team will only make matter worse. First of all it will show that punishment for match fixing is not that harsh. Imagine what the current players will be thinking, ''hey look jadeja was involved in match fixing but he is now coaching a national team, maybe if we were to come up with something like that we can cheat, be rich and have a good retirement plan''. And secondly what is there to say that he will not try to match fix again, afterall as a coach he will have a bigger influnce on team. India may be desperate for a coach but lets not jump the gun. Remember good things come to those who wait.

jadeja was a wonderful player.... he paid for wat he did ( match fixing) i think we r too harsh on him.... he suffered a lot. i can see him 100% fit for the post of coach .. i am sure he will do justice to the job... and prove his mettle. regards ravi...
