Mr Cricket The world of cricket has seen a change in order with T20 cricket. It has been identified as the way forward to make domestic cricket & its players a commercial viable option. Will leagues dominate the future cricket calendars or will it be the outdated ICC calendar .
PLz go through my views and pas me your esteemed feedback

Abhiram By the way, for all those Sachin worshipers....
During Mumbai''s match against Delhi, Sachin was bowled by YoMahesh. A reputed sports reporter Sunandan Lele wrote in a leading Marathi newspaper - " Sachin immediately looked at the bottom of his bat.. trying to create an illusion that the ball hit the bottom and went on to the stumps. The replays showed that the ball was nowhere near the bat!" He goes on to say, "This is not the first time Sachin has tried to create an illusion.. how many times have you seen him slumping down by suddenly bending his kneys.. on being given LBW.. to create an illusion that the ball kept low unexpectedly"

I know the worshippers are not going to like these comments... Sachin bashing is blasphemous!! ( Posted: Monday , June 02, 2008 at 09:20 )

Bobbie There were similar views when 50-50 cricket first came into the scene. Purists gave it the thumbs down and said it would ruin cricket for ever. One day cricket is the life line of cricket today. Guess it the same now. There will be passionate protests by the purists regarding T20 too. But, IPL has drawn the crowds and has been a big hit. If the purists do not like it, stay away. But for how long can you ignore it ? ( Posted: Sunday , June 01, 2008 at 08:10 )

Bharath (part-2) About Mumbai crowd :- It''s a basic indian nature to support the team with whom they share some intimacy or bond .....For yuvraj ...it was a tough pill to swallow because he experienced it for the first time ....it doesn''t mean that mumbai crowd is at fault :-),this time .

The part about Mr.Mallya and Mr.Lalit Modi......Ahemm.....I don''t know about them nor am i intrested ...i too don''t support cricketers being auctioned this way (prolly next time dey should find some other route ).People come to watch cricket not laser shows or cheer leaders . As simple as that and nothing else matters :-) .

Thank you for your Patience !! ( Posted: Thursday , May 29, 2008 at 02:16 )
Bharath "Cricket, under IPL, is not a sport. It is a mad, mob, mafia story, where the winner takes it all." .........I M BEGINNING TO WONDER WHETHER YOU ARE A VERY STRONG SUPPORTER OF ICL..........COMING TO YOUR POINT.....THE PRESENT DAY CRICKETERS( I THINK DEY CALL ALSO BE CLASSIFIED AS ''SPORT''SMEN ) ARE HAVING NO PROBLEM AND ARE PLAYING THIS GAME(80% PLEASURE FOR DA SAKE OF PLAYING CRICKET AND 20% FOR MONEY ) ......I DON''T SEE WHY WE ''EXPERTS'' , SHOULD BE HAVING ANY PROBLEM WITH IT :-),Period .

About sachin :- I think it''s high time , we realise , that IPL is a platform where a sportsman can express himselves freely under some regular constraints . I would like to point out that whenever umpires have performed very poorly in a match .....they have always been reported to ICC (either by captain or by the board) :-) . Mr Cricket HI Sanjay,
Wanted to know what you feel about the debacle of Mumbai in the T20 format of the game. India has two cricket leagues in form of the ICL & IPL. The two teams representing Mumbai in both the leagues were led by probably the greatest cricketers of this generation in form of Sachin Tendulkar & Brain Charles Lara.
What can be a better metaphor for Mumbai cricket than Tendulkar & Lara – they bring supreme dominace, great reputations and rich history in the latest T20 format of the game. However will Mumbai, Tendulkar & Lara crack the T20 code to emerge as dominant entities in the future of the game? Or will the mantel pass on to other emerging cities like Hyderabad, Chandigarh & Jaipur.
Please throw a glance at my humble view on the below link:
