Dear Mr. Jha Reading your aricle give me an impression that you are more intreasted in burring the matter instead of finding a long term solution. Your decision sounds like what the hell its not effecting me.Do you honestly thin why there is an issue when there no issue exists. My question to you and ICC 1. Why the ball is scuffed? 2. If yes who did it and banned them. 3. If not then why umpires think it is? Instead of finding a solution you are just imposing a judge order. I am not agreed with you. Tampring the ball and calling cheat is totally two issues. I think Mr Hair is incompitent and he gave his prove when he declared him out last winter. You should have seen all the video footage before writing this article. What about todays incidence Mr. Ricky with Umpire Asad Rauf. Well Ask any asian living in australia including indians they will confirm australians are racist. And Mr. Hair and the entire australian team even other atheletes are also reflecting. you can't see from where its comming. Well certainly Artificial Intelligence is no match for natural stupidity. Don't take it personal. Regards,

when there is no proof of ball temering, no evidence----then why to leave hair again to taunt Asians with his racism?Mr, Hair who brought the game of cricket in disrepute , and who has always been very non-professional and biasd in Pakistan matches, you want him to stand again in Pakistan matches, shame on your justice. Mr. Speed is just trying to secure his countryman, mr. hair, nothing else. If it would have been pakistani umpire and an Ashes match---well i am sure all Pakistani umpires had been elimintaed by elite panel, and match had already been arranged with 4th umpire or some "woddy wood packer:, "pind panther" etc. Shame on speed, shame on ICC, Shame on hair.

What about the reason why it all started? Has the ball been tampered with or not? Unless this can be answered in a 'yes' or 'no', no other decision is valid and it influences all subsequent judgements. So, this HAS to be answered first one way or another rather been left vague, for more such nonsense to follow.

The real mischief-maker, to my mind, seems to have gone away scot-free. Suppose that two Pak players were pre-determined to do the ball-tampering, as Jarman reports was done in SA, neither of the two umpires or Mike Proctor could have noticed this, nor the camera-men picked this on their cameras. Why was there some "rift" between Inzy and Woolmer in the greenroom? Why did Woolmer offer to resign? After Jarman's report, besides describing it as "fictitious", why did Woolmer not take Jarman to court for defamation? Would Sanjay Jha please think these over and provide answers?

Dear Mr. Jha I am overwhelmed to read such a great article. You gave a complete picture of the issue. All the viewpoints are equally reprsented and finally your viewppoint also is clearly mentioned. This article can be case study in a school of journalism . Thanks for sharing such a great piece of work.

As much as Patriots scream 'Racism' at the top of their voices, it is reverse racism that we in Asia suffer from. For all and sundry, we blame it on racism. On what proof? It is the proverbial white man's burden we are talking about here. Hair was not the only one who took this decision. Hair walked up to the Pakistan Team to talk to them. The blame is squarely on Pakistan. It is another matter to discuss if the decision was correct or not. Please, no racism.Let us talk like grown ups..

well,mr Murali u think that the issue of ball-tempering was little enough to be neglected,i mean to say a person comes no matter if he is an umpire, and impose his decision ,declares u a cheat with out proof, not even warnings, not warning da captain of the team and changes the ball.pakistan could have that won that match, thanx to baised "HAIR" & the unjust silence of "BILLY DOCTROVE" v lost.i declare u cheat when i have no proof means that inside u have some kind of ill-will against me.

Excellent perspective of the entire issue Mr Jha. You have hit the nail right on the head and where it hurts most. If this does not generate a spine for the spine less body ICC, nothing else will. Long live International Crooked Council.
