hello mr. jha (or mr. x or y or z as sachin said yday)..where are u now..why dont u speak up and write something..now dont demean urself by acting fool.. let me make something clear..i always liked your speaking up for sourav early on, but i think later you got carried away. and in this sachin episode too, you got carried away too early.. be pragmatic, be objective and be sincere. if you praise sourav, which u have done in many of ur last few posts, why write against sachin.. now will you opinion change about sachin... if so, why dont u write so

I hope this post of mine makes through. I have tried posting many times but it seems the editors / moderators (probably Jha) himself don''t like to face the truth. This guy Jha is a hypocrite. Keeps criticizing the best cricketer the country has produced and when someone was to criticize him, he is not bold enought to publish it! Actually he doesn''t even realize that Sachin is one of the reason of his bread and butter!

Mr. Sanjay Jha, Why no comments today? You are also one of those unpatriotic Ganguly fans who did nothing but spit venom when Ganguly was rightly dropped from Indian Team. You always, though indirectly, maintained that he''s better than Sachin. Now what happened? Ganguly played a selfish innings of 51* in first Test match against SA, Sachin played a strokeful innings of 141* against WI (comebacks). On featherbeds here, Ganguly never scored fast but Sachin today showed why he''s greatest. Moreover he always chips in with his golden arm. Hail Indian Cricket and Hail GOD! Cricket is my religion Tendulkar is my GOD.

Selfish innings of 51!!?? It was the turning point of the series man! Prior to that your GOD was hitting dirt in the face of the SA speedsters!Lets wait for Tendulkar to perform when India is chasing 275 runs and is 59 for 3.

GOD made 44 in that match when ball was new and swinging. Let me also explain the reason for me terming 51* from Ganguly as selfish (please read ahead if you understand cricket)
In any test match, when a middle order (so called world class) player plays with lower order, along with scoring runs, he performs one more duty of shielding tail from opposition bowlers by hogging up most of the strike. What Ganguly did was to take singles (many times on first ball of the over) just to add ot his score without worrying what will happen to tail ender. That was the way VRV Singh got out after Ganguly took single off the first ball of Pollock''s over. This is not one time thing. Below are some facts supporting it.
Let''s see the number of balls faced by Ganguly and other partner in later phase of India''s first innings
# Balls # Balls
Dhoni 20 Ganguly 11
Kumble 15 Ganguly 14
Khan 23 Ganguly 18
Sreesanth 2 Ganguly 0
VRV 19 Ganguly 16
Instead of Ganguly taking most strike tailenders batted for more balls. This shows that Ganguly was playing for his own runs (hence selfish) not worrying about Team''s score.
BTW, no comments on other points mentioned in the previous msg?

Sorry Sanjay ...... despite appreciating most of what you say, it''s kind of difficult to just sidestep Sachin. No matter how much a Ganguly admirer I am (for what he''s done to Indian cricket - whose who don''t understand kindly don''t come up with stats of Rahul vs Ganguly .. to be honest, there''s no comparison - and I''m talking of off the field activities that doesn''t involve politics) -I still feel Tendulkar is one of the brightest stars to have happened in world cricket since Don Bradman. I just hope he has his one last wish of winning the WC for India ........ he tried his level best in 2003 and missed out just 1 step thanks to our bowlers in the finals. I hope he succeeds this time ....... just for the contributions he has made to world cricket. Guys like Jayasurya/Sachin has changed the dimensions of cricket Sanjay ............ can''t just write them off!

What Amarnath said about selectors was definitely true in those days. Now, it has to be said that all the so called cricket authors are real bunch of jokers who seek highlight by making useless comments
